Vietnam women's team may participate in AVC Challenge Cup 2025 at home
After successfully organizing the first phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, the organizing committee at Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi) has hinted at hosting the 2025 AVC Challenge Cup. On the last competition day on March 31, the organizing committee sent their greetings and arranged to meet again in June with an international tournament held in Dong Anh.
AVC Challenge Cup 2025 takes place in June 2025. The Vietnamese women's volleyball team has won the championship for 2 consecutive years. Previously, Taiwan (China) has been active in applying to host this tournament.
If the tournament is successfully brought to Vietnam, the domestic audience will cheer for the women's volleyball team and watch the exciting matches between the teams.
Quynh Huong will not compete in the Hung Vuong Cup 2025
According to the registration list, the main striker Pham Quynh Huong will not compete in the 2025 Hung Vuong Cup with the Information Corps women's team. Instead, Quynh Huong will go to Kon Tum to compete in the A-class tournament in 2025.
Most women's teams have made changes and additions to their personnel, but the Information Corps did not borrow any more players and only brought 13 athletes to the tournament.
15-year friendship of the Information Corps players
Recently, former athlete Chu Thi Ngoc shared a photo taken with Luu Thi Ly Ly, Viet Huong and Thanh Huong at Dong Anh Stadium with the caption: "This document set has been together for 15 years".
All 4 people used to practice and compete in the Information Corps women's team. Currently, Thanh Huong and Chu Thi Ngoc have retired, but still regularly show support for the army team.
Viet Huong is currently temporarily suspended from competition. In phase 1 of the national championship held in Dong Anh at the end of March, the three girls often went to the stadium to watch the matches of the Information Corps.
