The list of teams participating in the Hung Vuong Cup 2025 is taken according to the results of phase 1 of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship.
Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City Police, Border Guard, The Cong Tan Cang, Da Nang (men's event), and LPB Ninh Binh, VTV Binh Dien Long An, Information Corps - Dong Bac TCT, Vietinbank (women's event) will compete in the tournament taking place from April 3-6 at Phu Tho Sports and Physical Training Gymnasium.
As soon as the results of the teams participating in the Hung Vuong Cup 2025 were available, each team had carefully prepared its forces.
For the defending champion VTV Binh Dien Long An, coach Thai Quang Lai kept the list of players who have just participated in phase 1 in Dong Anh, Hanoi. In addition, the Western team brought in foreign player Lianet Garcia - a hitter who just played for the Ho Chi Minh City women's team.
Meanwhile, LPB Ninh Binh does not have the services of Anh Thao and Vi Thi Yen Nhi. Two young players of the Hanoi team have returned to their home clubs to participate in the 2025 National A-League. Instead, coach Thai Thanh Tung borrowed player Nguyen Thi Uyen - the best player in Thai Binh's shirt in phase 1.
Coming to the Hung Vuong Cup 2025, Vietinbank could not keep the main striker Vi Thi Nhu Quynh because this female striker had to return to the Quang Ninh team to participate in the national A-class tournament.
