The Asian Volleyball Federation will honor the best player of the year
The Asian Volleyball Confederation - AVC officially announced that this year it will for the first time organize a Gala honoring the most outstanding individuals of continental volleyball.
For the first time, AVC voted to find the winner in the categories: Best men's and women's indoor volleyball player; Best men's and women's beach volleyball player; Best coach; Best referee.
The gala of the program will be named AVC Gala 2026, expected to take place on the evening of August 8 in Bangkok (Thailand).
The voting results for each category are based on 70% of votes from the professional department of the Executive Committee of the Asian Volleyball Federation and 30% of votes from fans.
AVC allows Asian volleyball fans to publicly vote for each individual on the official website avcgala.com from June 8 to June 30.
After that, the Organizing Committee will summarize the results before announcing the winners of each category at the Gala night.
Players, coaches, and referees who have had a successful 2025 professional activity year along with their marks in recent tournaments will be promising to win titles.
It is expected that AVC will organize an annual Gala honoring Asian volleyball.
Tran Thi Thanh Thuy continues to score the most points
Main attacker and captain Tran Thi Thanh Thuy continued to play most effectively in the Vietnam women's team in the 3-0 victory over Iran women's team.
In the match, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy scored 21 points. Standing behind Thanh Thuy is middle blocker Tran Thi Bich Thuy (scoring 12 points). Against the Iranian women's team, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team scored 77 points in attacking and defensive blocking situations.
Previously, in the match against the Indonesian women's team and winning narrowly 3-2, main attacker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy was also a prominent player of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
Currently, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team has had 4 victories in the group stage of the AVC Cup 2026.
Tran Thi Thanh Thuy is expected to continue to play officially in the final match against Kazakhstan on June 12 to compete for the No. 1 position of Group B at AVC Cup 2026.
7 VTV Binh Dien Long An players took the high school graduation exam

In the above list, Nguyen Ngoc Anh was once in the squad of 14 VTV Binh Dien Long An players in round 1 of the 2026 National Club Championship.
