After careful consideration of expertise and to focus on preparing best, the coaching staff of the Vietnam U18 Women's Volleyball Team has completed the shortlist of 14 players.
The number of players registered to participate in the 2026 Southeast Asian U18 Championship and the 2026 Asian U18 Championship includes Bui Thi Anh Thao, Nguyen Mai Quynh, Bui Thi Huyen, Nguyen Cham Anh (main attackers); Nguyen Khanh Linh, Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi (volleyers); Le Thuy Linh, Trinh Huynh Bao Ngoc, Le Thi Kim Thu, Vu Mai Ngan (middle attackers), Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang, Do Que Tran (seconds pass); Quach Thi Hoai An, Le Thi Hang (libero).
In which, main attacker Bui Thi Anh Thao was assigned the important responsibility of captain. The two tournaments are both held in Thailand.
The Vietnam U18 women's volleyball team started training in Bac Ninh from April with 20 players. After a period of preparation and to be ready for expertise, 14 official faces were selected. Currently, the whole team is training in Bac Ninh with 14 players.
The coaching staff said that the top requirement is that players must focus on implementing tactical plans to complete the goal of winning points when competing.
During the participation in the 2026 Southeast Asian U18 Championship and the upcoming 2026 Asian U18 Championship in Thailand, the team will have fitness expert Karl Lim accompanying them.
The coaching staff and U18 Vietnam women's players will depart for Thailand on June 21.
