The coaching staff of the Vietnam U18 Women's Volleyball Team said that the time to move to Thailand is June 21.
In Thailand, head coach Le Thi Hien and U18 Vietnam women's players participated in 2 tournaments including the 2026 Southeast Asian Women's U18 Championship and the 2026 Asian Women's U18 Championship.
Schedule of the 2026 Southeast Asian U18 Women's Championship from June 23 to June 28. Next, the 2026 AFC U18 Women's Championship is held from July 1 to July 7.
This year, the 2026 AFC U18 Women's Championship will have 16 participating teams.
The teams were drawn by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) into 4 groups (4 teams each).
Group A includes U18 Thailand (host), U18 Uzbekistan, U18 Australia, U18 Mongolia. Group B includes U18 China, U18 Kazakhstan, U18 Hong Kong (China), U18 Kyrgyzstan. Group C has U18 Japan, U18 Iran, U18 Philippines, U18 Indonesia and Group D has U18 Taiwan (China), U18 Korea, U18 India, U18 Vietnam.
The results of the 2026 AFC U18 Women's Championship will determine the slots to participate in the 2027 FIFA U19 World Championship.
Currently, the Vietnam U18 Women's Volleyball Team is training at Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports. The coaching staff has gathered 20 players and will shorten the list to 14 official faces in the near future.
Recently, the players have trained in Tam Dao (Phu Tho) and are now continuing to train in Bac Ninh.
