Striker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy has ended her contract with the Turkish women's volleyball team Kuzeyboru. The 1997-born hitter also has a plane ticket to return home. It is expected that this weekend (November 16-17), Thanh Thuy will be in Vietnam.
Previously, Kuzeyboru and Thanh Thuy reached an agreement to sign a one-season contract in the 2024-2025 Turkish National Volleyball Championship. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy's contract ends in May 2025. Thanh Thuy started playing for this team in October 2024 (when the tournament started). However, most likely due to physical problems and inability to meet the professional requirements of the European team, the two sides came to an early termination of the contract.
By the time Thanh Thuy returns home, the 2024 National Volleyball Championship will also end, so it is very likely that the main striker of VTV Binh Dien Long An will find a team in Asia to continue playing abroad.

On the evening of November 15, VTV Binh Dien Long An defeated LPB Ninh Binh with a score of 3-2 to win the right to play in the final match of the 2024 National Volleyball Championship. Blocker Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa was one of the key factors that brought victory to the Western team.
After the match, this player shared: "Today's match was very difficult for VTV Binh Dien Long An. In the group stage, Ninh Binh played with a different spirit, but in the semi-finals they completely transformed and played very well. Ninh Binh's positions were all good, but Bich Tuyen was still the outstanding one.
With a young force like now, it is normal for our players to be down. But the young players can rally their spirit and show their desire to win, showing it in each set, that is commendable."
Hanoi relegated early
Hanoi Club is the first team to be relegated from the 2024 National Volleyball Championship. The representative of the capital has only 2 points, 7 points away from the safe zone. This is not an unexpected result because Hanoi's squad this year consists of many young players who do not have much experience in competition.
However, Yen Nhi and her teammates also left an impression in this year's tournament. The young girls always played with determination, with all their might, and at times created difficulties for the strong teams.
