Volleyball fans in the coming time will look forward to the AVC Nations Cup 2025 women's volleyball tournament.
This is a tournament that was preceded by the AVC Challenge Cup, a tournament in which the Vietnam women's volleyball team is the defending champion.
The event was held in Hanoi, Vietnam, under the management of the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) and the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV).
The matches of the AVC Nations Cup 2025 women's volleyball tournament will take place from June 7-14 at Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi). This is the place that has just successfully organized the first phase of the National Volleyball Championship.
After the Qatari women's volleyball team refused to participate, the AVC Nations Cup 2025 women's volleyball tournament will have only 11 participating teams.
In addition to the host team Vietnam, 10 other names participating in the tournament include: Australia, Kazakhstan, India, Indonesia, Iran, Hong Kong (China), Mongolia, New Zealand, Philippines and Taiwan (China).
Tickets to the AVC Nations Cup 2025 women's volleyball tournament will be on sale from May 25 at two locations, Dong Anh Stadium and Dong Anh Cultural House.

AVC Nations Cup is the first official tournament of the Vietnam national team in 2025 before heading to a series of playgrounds such as VTV Cup, SEA V.League, World Championship and SEA Games 33.
Other Asian teams such as China, Japan, Thailand and South Korea will not participate in the AVC Women's Volleyball Nations Cup because these teams have been selected to participate in the 2025 FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League.
According to AVC regulations, the AVC Nations Cup is a tournament designed for countries not participating in the Nations League to accumulate world ranking points and opportunities to participate in larger tournaments.
