The Video Challenge Eyes system is installed to serve SEA V.Cup 2026
The preparation of facilities for the first leg of the SEA V.Cup 2026 Women's Volleyball Tournament in Dong Anh (Hanoi) is being completed.
At this time, cameras of the Video Challenge Eyes system (magic eyes) have been installed to support referees in officiating matches.
Before the tournament took place, the professional departments of the Southeast Asian Volleyball Federation and the Vietnam Volleyball Federation carefully checked the preparation of the Dong Anh Gymnasium (Hanoi).
This is the first time this venue has organized a stage of the women's event of the SEA V.Cup in Southeast Asia.
However, last year, Dong Anh Gymnasium (Hanoi) was once the venue for the AVC Cup 2025 of Asia.
At that time, the President of the Asian Volleyball Federation - Mr. Ramon Suzara came to Vietnam to attend and watch the match. The first leg of the women's event of the SEA V.Cup 2026 takes place from July 31 to August 2.
On July 30, the Organizing Committee will hold a professional meeting with representatives of 4 teams (Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines).
Coach Ngoc Hoa has enough troops to train
Coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa has enough 14 players for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team who are training at Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports on July 29.
The coaching staff of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team assigned coaches Ngoc Hoa and Duc Hieu to take charge of professional training for players who did not participate in the first leg of the women's event of the SEA V.Cup 2026 training in Bac Ninh.
On July 29, 4 players who just participated in the 2026 National Youth Club Championship of the Vietnamese Women's Volleyball Team gathered after finishing their duties in Ninh Binh.
The coaching staff said that the opportunity to participate in stage 2 of the SEA V.Cup 2026 in Thailand is still evenly divided among the players.
Therefore, the training still took place seriously and ensured the requirements of the professional curriculum.
The player in the best form is still capable of going to Thailand to compete in stage 2 of the SEA V.Cup 2026 from August 7 to August 9.
