Women's team goes to Tam Dao
Today (September 30), the Vietnam women's volleyball team has a temporary break after two matches of VTV Ferroli Cup 2025. Taking advantage of this time, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's students went to Tam Dao (Vinh Phuc) to rest and relax.
Because Tam Dao is quite close to Vinh Phuc Stadium, the players did not take much time to move. Here, the players went out, sightsee, and had fun.
On her personal page, middle blocker Le Thanh Thuy shared a photo with her teammates such as Khanh Dang, Pham Thi Hien, Nguyen Thi Phuong. This is a valuable day off for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team players while participating in the tournament.
Tomorrow (July 1), the Vietnam women's volleyball team will face Tu Xuyen (China) in the final match of the group stage.
Philippine media praises the Vietnam women's team
The Philippine women's volleyball team lost to the Vietnamese women's volleyball team with a score of 0-3 (20-25, 21-25, 21-25) in the second match of VTV Cup 2025 (evening of May 29).
After the match, the Philippine media gave many compliments to the home team's convincing performance.
Sports Interactive Network Philippines used the word "impregnable" to describe the strength of Thanh Thuy and her teammates in the 3-0 victory.
"Vietnam continues to be an unsolved problem for the Philippine women's volleyball team," the news site stated.
Meanwhile, Spin.ph newspaper praised the Vietnamese women's volleyball team as the "Asian volleyball champion", and commented that this was a rare time that the Philippines team scored over 20 points in all three sets when facing Vietnam in the past 7 years.
Thai Binh, Vinh Long, Tra Vinh volleyball teams stabilize training spirit
From July 1, 34 provincial-level administrative units will come into operation after the merger according to regulations. Accordingly, Thai Binh and Hung Yen provinces will merge into a new province called Hung Yen province; Tay Ninh and Long An provinces will merge into a new province called Tay Ninh province.
Currently, Thai Binh has the Thai Binh women's volleyball team, Long An has the VTV Binh Dien Long An women's team and Long An men's team competing in the national championship; Hung Yen has a women's volleyball team participating in the national A-class volleyball tournament.
It is known that the teams are still in a stable training spirit, and professional issues are not affected.
Mr. Le Tri Truong - General Secretary of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation said that the organization of volleyball tournaments in the last 6 months of 2025 will still be carried out according to the established program.
With the 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Tournament Finals, if the participating teams want to change their names, they can send a document to the organizing committee for consideration.
