Trà My trains with the women's team
In the list of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team participating in the first leg of the SEA V.League 2024 in Vinh Phuc, opposite hitter Nguyen Thi Tra My is not included. However, in a recent video posted in a group of Vietnamese volleyball fans, the 2004-born opposite hitter is still actively training with the national women's team.
It is known that Tra My has not been sent back to her club VTV Binh Dien Long An but has been kept for training, waiting to participate in the second leg of the SEA V.League 2024 taking place from August 9-11.
In the second leg, it is likely that main attacker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy will not participate with the team to prepare for her competition in Turkey. At that time, Tra My may be the replacement option that coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet uses for the main attacker position.
Vietnam U20 men's volleyball team relaxes
Recently, on the personal page of a player from the Vietnam U20 men's volleyball team, a live stream of the team's swimming session at the hotel pool was broadcast. The young players appeared quite relaxed, interacting with fans. This shows that the whole team is in good spirits after completing the 2024 Asian U20 Championship in Indonesia.
Earlier today (July 30), Vietnam U20 won 3-0 against Bangladesh U20, thereby ranking 13th overall in the 2024 Asian U20 Men's Volleyball Championship. This is a rather regretful result as coach Hoang Van Phuong's team did not progress further in the tournament to compete for a spot in the 2025 U21 World Championship.
However, the performance of the young players was highly appreciated, showing confidence and composure when competing on the continental stage.

Lan Vy will also wear the captain's armband for the western team.
Leading the VTV Binh Dien Long An youth team in this tournament is former national player Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa. The tournament will take place from August 11-24 at the Binh Phuoc provincial gymnasium.
