In the list of registered players for the second phase of the 2024 National Volleyball Championship of VTV Binh Dien Long An Club, there is a surprise appearance of former player Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa. She will return to play for the Western team in the position of middle blocker.

She is considered one of the best middle blockers with comprehensive offensive and defensive abilities. The spiker born in 1987 is also the exemplary former captain of the national women's volleyball team.
Thus, the supporting players of VTV Binh Dien Long An in phase 2 will be a combination of experience and youth, including Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa, Dang Thi Kim Thanh, Lu Thi Phuong, and Nhu Anh.

Van Ha will not compete in phase 2.
According to coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet (VietinBank), this team was unable to register setter Nguyen Van Ha for phase 2 of the 2024 national volleyball championship.
The reason is because Van Ha's home team Kinh Bac Bac Ninh has 2 other players registered for the upcoming tournament, so the player born in 2005 cannot join the Banking team.
Currently, the coaching staff of VietinBank women's team continues to prepare the position of setter 2 with the team's current players. In the second phase of the tournament, this team will use Tran Thi Phuong and Nguyen Thi Thu Hoai to play in the above positions.
