Therefore, Kieu Trinh did not focus on the Vietnamese Women's Volleyball Team in July. However, Kieu Trinh still maintains psychological stability to train with her teammates at the military team at this time.
27 teams participate in the 2026 National Youth Championship
The 2026 National Youth Volleyball Championship will start competing from August 8 at the Ha Tinh Provincial Gymnasium.
Today, August 7, 27 teams (12 men, 15 women) have completed registration lists with the Organizing Committee to enter the competition.
After the technical meeting, the professional department drew lots for the group stage for the teams.
According to the program, the teams will play in a round-robin format in their group to compete for a place in the quarterfinals.
The group stage takes place from August 8 to August 19. After that, the quarter-finals take place from August 20 to 21. The semi-finals of the tournament take place on August 22.
This year's tournament will close with 2 finals in the men's and women's categories on August 23.
The Information Corps (female) and The Cong Tan Cang (male) teams have just won the 2026 National Youth Club Volleyball Tournament.
They are considered candidates with the opportunity to continue to win the championship in Ha Tinh this time.
Vietnam women's volleyball team drops in rank
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team has dropped to 28th in the world. Before the match against Indonesia, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team was ranked 27th in the world.
However, coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa's players lost the match against Indonesia on August 7.
The defeat caused the Vietnamese women's volleyball team to be deducted points in the FIVB rankings.
The performance results of the 4 teams in stage 2 of the SEA V.Cup 2026 are counted as accumulated points on the FIVB ranking.
In the first leg that took place in Dong Anh (Hanoi), the results were also counted as FIVB ranking points for the teams.
