The 33rd SEA Games volleyball event is reported live
The Thai host organizing committee affirmed that volleyball is a sport that is live coverage of all matches at the 33rd SEA Games. The technical department will report directly on 4 events including men's and women's indoor volleyball and men's and women's beach volleyball.
The indoor volleyball match will take place in Bangkok (Thailand). Vietnam participated in all 4 volleyball events. Thus, Vietnamese audiences have the opportunity to directly watch players competing in the 33rd SEA Games on channels with copyright from the Organizing Committee.
On September 8, representatives of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation were present in Thailand to attend the Media and Television Conference organized by the host Organizing Committee of Thailand.
At the two most recent Games, the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam and the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia, volleyball matches were broadcast live to serve sports fans in Southeast Asia.
Thai player who once wore the Duc Giang Chemical shirt to compete in Turkey
Striker Sasipapron Janthawisut (Thailand) officially wears the Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyespor team jersey at the 2025-2026 Turkish Volleyball Championship.
This player has gone to Turkey after finishing the 2025 World Championship with the Thai Volleyball Team.
Sasipapron Janthawisut once went to Vietnam to play for the (old) Thai Binh team (now Hung Yen). Last year, she competed with Duc Giang Chemicals in the first phase of the 2024 National Championship but did not return to Vietnam in the second phase.
Striker Sasipapron Janthawisut is one of the top professional hitters in Southeast Asia, attracted by many Vietnamese teams to sign a contract. At the end of last year, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy was also the representative of the Southeast Asian women's volleyball team that went to Turkey to compete.
Two teams change their names at the national championship
In the second phase of the 2025 National Championship, there will be 2 teams changing their names to ensure compliance with regulations. The Thai Binh women's team (old) will register a new name as Hung Yen and the Long An men's team (old) will be registered as Tay Ninh team.
These two teams are on the list of 16 teams participating in the 2025 National Championship. The organizing committee approved the team's name change and kept the existing competition results.
Currently, the head coach of the Hung Yen women's team is Mr. Tran Van Giap and the head coach of the Tay Ninh men's team is Mr. Pham Phuoc Tien. The teams will be present in Ninh Binh to participate in the second phase of the 2025 National Championship from October 10.
