In the match against Phu Dong Ninh Binh in the quarter-finals of the 2024-2025 National Cup taking place on the evening of March 29, striker Bui Vi Hao was not on the list of players registered to compete for Binh Duong club, even though he had previously participated in training.
Appearing in the stands of Binh Duong Stadium on the evening of March 29, Vi Hao had to wear his right leg and had some difficulty moving.
According to Lao Dong, Bui Vi Hao was injured during a training session preparing for the match against Phu Dong Ninh Binh. In an attempt to dispute, Vi Hao received illegal possession, leading to an injury.

Currently, Vi Hao's legs are still swollen, the blood is not dissolved, so a MRI scan cannot be performed. It is expected that tomorrow (March 31), Vi Hao will be taken for X-ray to accurately determine the extent of the injury.
Sharing about Vi Hao's situation, coach Nguyen Cong Manh of Binh Duong expressed his concern. He said: "I am very worried. Hao returned to the national team and was injured two days before the match against Phu Dong Ninh Binh. There is a high possibility. I hope the lightest situation, and I dare not say the most serious situation".
Not only the Binh Duong coaching staff, Vi Hao's injury has also worried coach Kim Sang-sik. Because Vi Hao is a key factor in the U22 Vietnam squad preparing for the 33rd SEA Games taking place at the end of this year.
In the FIFA Days in March, Vi Hao was allowed by coach Kim Sang-sik to play the last 24 minutes of the friendly match with Cambodia and left some impression.
