On the evening of November 16, the match between Ho Chi Minh City women's club and Lion City Sailors (Singapore) in Group A of the 2025-2026 Asian Women's Cup C1 witnessed an incident that worried the entire Thong Nhat Stadium. In the 76th minute, when the match was in a balance, Nur Ain Salleh suddenly collapsed.
As soon as the incident was discovered, the medical team quickly entered the stadium to provide first aid to the Lion City Sailors female player. After a few minutes of initial treatment, Ain Salleh was taken to the stretcher and transferred to an ambulance to be taken to the hospital for examination. The situation caused both players of both teams and the audience on the field to express their concerns.

The match had to be suspended for about 7 minutes before continuing. After the break, the HCMC women's club took advantage of the opportunity to score two consecutive goals in the last minutes and won 2-0, thereby officially entering the quarter-finals of the 2025-2026 Asian Women's Cup C1.
Sharing after the match, coach Yeong Sheau Shyan said Nur Ain Salleh was stable. She said: "Nur Ain Salleh is the most talented player in Singapore women's football at the moment. Ain Salleh has a scholarship to compete in Spain. Her physically is ready for the professional level and I am not worried. But unfortunately Ain Salleh collided and fell. She is in the hospital, now stable and alert."

On the other side of the front line, coach Nguyen Hong Pham of the Ho Chi Minh City team also sent his best wishes to Nur Ain Salleh. He said: "We hope the players of your team are safe. We are also very impatient for the injured player. We admire the fighting spirit of your team, very strong".
