The "blue team" of coach Cristiano Roland and his team in this match is U18 Imabari - the youth team of Imabari club, currently competing in J.League 2, which is considered a suitable opponent for U17 Vietnam to test the squad in the opening phase in Japan.

In order to serve the professional evaluation, coach Cristiano Roland divided the force into 2 teams, each team competed for one round.

In the first half, U17 Vietnam played with a team consisting of goalkeeper Chu Ba Huan, defenders Hoang Viet, Manh Cuong, Dang Khoa, Anh Hao, midfielders Quy Vuong, Ngoc Son, Minh Thuy, Chu Ngoc Nguyen Luc, Sy Bach and striker Tran Manh Quan.

The match started with a balanced game, when the ball mainly rolled in the midfield area with the competition of the midfields of both teams.

In the 28th minute, U17 Vietnam opened the scoring thanks to a beautiful free kick by Chu Ngoc Nguyen Luc from outside the penalty area. In the 43rd minute, the gap was doubled after another set piece, the ball went straight, confusing the U18 Imabari defense, and Sy Bach quickly finished to increase the score to 2-0.

In the second half, coach Cristiano Roland changed the entire squad to give opportunities to the remaining players. Despite playing enthusiastically and creating many notable attacking situations, U17 Vietnam did not score any more goals and ended the match with a 2-0 victory.

This result brought a positive signal for U17 Vietnam in the process of perfecting the playing style and preparing personnel before entering the 2026 U17 Asian qualifiers.
