On the afternoon of May 30, on the sidelines of the introduction of the Asian Women's Volleyball Championship - AVC Nations Cup 2025, striker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy shared about the preparation of the Vietnam women's team as well as her personal performance before the important tournament.
"I have recovered 100%, I don't feel any pain at all. Regarding physical issues, in the past time, I have worked with experts to have the best preparation for the AVC Nations Cup," said the female player born in 1997.
Fans are very interested in Thanh Thuy's physical condition. Persistent injuries have more or less affected her performance in recent times, especially her recent outing to compete in Turkey and Indonesia.
However, at this time, the Binh Duong athlete has recovered 100% and is ready for the upcoming important tournament with the Vietnam women's volleyball team. Her presence significantly increases the strength of the team.

Regarding the AVC Nations Cup 2025, the tournament will be held from June 7 to June 14 at the Dong Anh District Gymnasium, Hanoi. Currently, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team is the defending champion of the tournament, having won the championship twice in a row in 2023 and 2024.
This year, the tournament has 11 participating teams: Australia, India, Taiwan (China), Iran, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong (China), Mongolia, New Zealand, the Philippines and Vietnam.
In each group, the teams compete in a round-robin to calculate points and select 4 teams to enter the quarter-finals.
Regarding the list of Vietnam women's volleyball team, the players participating in the tournament include main attackers Thanh Thuy, Nhu Quynh, Nguyen Thi Uyen, Nguyen Thi Phuong; opposite setter Bich Tuyen, Kieu Trinh; middle blocker Nguyen Trinh, Le Thanh Thuy, Bich Thuy, Pham Thi Hien; setter Lam Oanh, Kim Thoa and libero Khanh Dang, Ly Ly.
At the AVC Nations Cup 2025, the Vietnam women's volleyball team will enter Group A with opponents Australia, Taiwan (China), Hong Kong (China) and India.
Meanwhile, Group B includes the women's volleyball teams of Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Iran, Indonesia, Mongolia and New Zealand.
