On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, FIFA President Gianni Infantino and FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafstrom sent New Year greetings to the Vietnam Football Federation and President Tran Quoc Tuan.
In the letter, FIFA leaders sent their best New Year wishes to Vietnamese football, and at the same time wished the members of the Vietnam Football Federation good health, happiness and many successes in 2026.
Currently, Chairman of the Vietnam Football Federation Tran Quoc Tuan is holding the position of Member of the FIFA National Team Competition Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Asian Football Federation, and also holds the position of Head of the Competition Committee of this organization.
FIFA leaders also expressed their desire to soon have the opportunity to meet President Tran Quoc Tuan again, thereby continuing to consolidate and develop the cooperative relationship between FIFA and the Vietnam Football Federation in 2026 - a time when world football has many important events, towards the activities of the FIFA World Cup in the future.
