The 2025 World Volleyball Championship started on August 22 in Thailand.
The FIVB Volleyball World Federation and host Thailand will organize the group stage competition at four locations: Bangkok, Nakhon Ratchasima, Chiang Mai and Phuket.
Although the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team participated, no Vietnamese television unit announced the purchase of live coverage rights for this year's tournament.
The Vietnam women's volleyball team will compete on August 23 against Poland. After that, we will play the second match against Germany on August 25. The match against the Kenyan team will take place on August 27.
The two recent international tournaments are AVC Nations Cup 2025 and SEA V.League 2025, the matches have been broadcast live in Vietnam.
The 2025 World Volleyball Championship is the first tournament in which FIVB has increased the number of teams from 24 to 32. List of football teams in Group G:
