Tomorrow (8.22), the 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship will officially kick off. The tournament has the participation of 32 teams from different continents.
According to the draw results, Group A includes the Netherlands, Sweden, Egypt, host Thailand; Group B includes Belgium, Cuba, Italy, Slovakia; Group C includes Brazil, Greece, Puerto Rico, France; Group D includes the Czech Republic, Argentina, the US, Slovenia; Group E includes Canada, Bulgaria, Turkey, Spain; Group F includes Dominican Republic, Mexico, China, Colombia; Group G includes Germany, Kenya, Vietnam, Poland; Group H includes Japan, Cameroon, Serbia, Ukraine.
According to the format, the teams in each group will compete in a round-robin, calculating ranking points. The two teams with the best results in each group will advance to the round of 16.
Regarding the Vietnam women's volleyball team, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team have carefully prepared for the upcoming journey.
Continuously participating in international tournaments in recent times along with quality training trips partly helps Thanh Thuy and her teammates improve their expertise and improve their physical strength before facing world-class opponents.
According to the match schedule, in the group stage, the Vietnam women's team will meet Poland (23.8), Germany (25.8) and Kenya (27.8).
All matches at the 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship, including matches of the Vietnam women's team, will be broadcast live on the official YouTube channel of Volleyball World.
