The 2024 National A-Class Volleyball Tournament has concluded after the final match between the Ho Chi Minh City Police men's team and Binh Duong Construction Materials. In this match, Ho Chi Minh City Police completely dominated and won with a final score of 3-0 (25-14, 25-18, 25-15).
The representative from Ho Chi Minh City will win the only ticket to the national championship next year. They have had 5 wins since the beginning of the tournament and have only lost 1 set, which was the match against VLXD Binh Duong in the group stage.
This is a completely worthy achievement as Ho Chi Minh City Police had made a strong investment before the tournament with a team of quality foreign players.
In the 3rd-4th place match, HCMC lost 2-3 to SK Pearlnest Khanh Hoa. Although leading after the 3rd set, HCMC could not maintain their form to make a comeback. Thus, the 3rd place team will be Khanh Hoa, while HCMC will be 4th.
Previously, yesterday (October 18), the HCMC women's team defeated Kinh Bac Bac Ninh with a score of 3-0 to return to the national championship after a season playing in the lower division.
