Ho Chi Minh City Police wins the largest 11-a-side football tournament in Vietnam

With a strong force and many experienced faces, Ho Chi Minh City Police is considered the leading candidate for the championship. Under the leadership of coach Bao Tien, the team owns two former national team players Le Tan Tai and Dao Van Phong - important "loads" in the attacking play.

Right in the first half of the final against Nhat Trung, Ho Chi Minh City Police's overwhelming position was quickly concretized with 5 goals, in which Quoc Bao scored a hat-trick, while Tan Tai and Van Duy each scored one goal. Entering the second half, coach Bao Tien put young players such as U17 Vietnam players Nguyen Le Minh Khoi and Ho Minh Khoi on the field, continuing to maintain the pressure and each scoring an additional goal. Tan Tai and Van Duy completed their double, ending the convincing victory 9-2.

This year's championship is of special significance, as it is the first time in history that the Ho Chi Minh City Police team has stepped up to the highest title of the 18th Becamex Group Cup in 2025 - the largest 11-a-side football tournament in Vietnam, gathering hundreds of teams nationwide. After finishing second in the 2023 season, the police team has realized its "golden dream" with impressive performances throughout the tournament.
