This training trip is part of the cooperation program between the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the German Football Federation.
With two weeks of training at Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen, the program promises to give young players the opportunity to rub shoulders, learn and develop in the most modern football environment in Europe.
Head coach Okiyama Masahiko said this trip is aimed at an important goal of learning from German football. Through the matches, players have the opportunity to experience foreign culture, customs, and climates as well as adapt to long trips with a time difference. In addition, they have friends and exchanged knowledge with many players from different football backgrounds.
With enthusiastic support from the German Embassy in Vietnam, the team members have been granted visas and are ready to start a promising journey.
