Dinh Bac, Van Binh, Quoc Cuong in the hearts of Nghe An fans

On the afternoon of January 27, the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized an exchange program "Dinh Bac - Van Binh - Quoc Cuong in the hearts of Nghe An football fans" to congratulate the impressive achievements of three players in the Vietnam U23 team at the AFC U23 Championship.

At the exchange, a large number of fans were present to congratulate the players. The three players and their families sent sincere thanks to the fans, and shared their determination to maintain their form, continue to play honestly and nobly to bring glory to the Fatherland.

Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province - emphasized the province's pride in having three players who grew up from Nghe land. The success of the children is not only an honor for Vietnamese football but also a great pride for the homeland of Nghe An. She also believes that sports, especially football, is one of the important fields contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people and promoting the local image.

During the exchange, the People's Committee of Nghe An province awarded Certificates of Merit and prizes worth 50 million VND to each player to recognize their outstanding contributions.

After a journey of effort and drama, three players from Nghe An - Nguyen Dinh Bac, Cao Van Binh and Nguyen Thai Quoc Cuong - made great contributions to the historic victory of U23 Vietnam against U23 Korea in the third-place match.

In particular, Dinh Bac had a decisive pass for the opening goal and scored to increase the score to 2-1, Quoc Cuong successfully converted a penalty in the penalty shootout, and Van Binh excellently saved an important penalty.
