The host organizers Japan of ASIAD 20 and the Asian Olympic Council – OCA will hold the Congress affirmation conference in Japan.
This is the final working session for the sports delegations participating in ASIAD 20 to determine the official members who will compete in Aichi-Nagoya (Japan) this year.
According to Lao Dong's investigation, representatives of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation will attend the AFFIRMATION Conference of the ASIAD 20 Organizing Committee.
According to registration, Vietnamese Sports has 498 members participating in ASIAD 20, including 348 athletes.
However, due to some athletes suffering injuries during the recent professional preparation process, representatives of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation will register changes in accordance with regulations at this Conference, affirming that the number of 498 members participating in ASIAD 20 is guaranteed.
ASIAD 20 has 43 sports (71 sub-sports) organized for competition. Vietnamese sports will have athletes competing in 33 sports, sub-sports including: athletics, shooting, rowing, sepak takraw, karate, canoeing, swimming, gymnastics, taekwondo, archery, boxing, weightlifting, wrestling, cycling, wushu, kurash, jujitsu, judo, golf, handball, badminton, fencing, sailing, Esports, breaking, mixed martial arts - MMA, women's indoor volleyball, men's indoor volleyball, women's beach volleyball, men's beach volleyball, women's football, men's football.
ASIAD 20 is held from September 19 to October 4. The opening ceremony takes place on September 19.
