The Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism and the Vietnam Sports Administration will soon issue a decision to establish the Vietnamese Sports Delegation to compete in ASIAD 20.
At that time, the official list of Vietnamese Sports members going to Japan to attend ASIAD 20 was announced.
Currently, the ASIAD 20 preparation force of each national sports team has been completed.
We expect to send about 348 players to compete.
ASIAD 20 will organize 43 official sports (71 sub-sports), including 469 competition events.
With its preparation, Vietnamese Sports is expected to participate in sports including: athletics, shooting, rowing, sepak takraw, karate, canoeing, swimming, gymnastics, taekwondo, archery, boxing, weightlifting, wrestling, cycling, wushu, kurash, jujitsu, judo, golf, handball, badminton, fencing, sailing, Esports, break dancing, mixed martial arts - MMA, women's indoor volleyball, men's indoor volleyball, women's beach volleyball, men's beach volleyball, women's football, men's football...
The host Japanese organizers will organize the official competition of this year's Congress from September 19 to October 4.
Opening ceremony takes place on September 19. Closing ceremony is held on October 4.
However, some sports have early starts before the ASIAD 20 Opening Ceremony. Among them, the earliest events and sports start from September 10th.
Vietnamese sports maintain the goal of striving to win from 4 to 6 gold medals at ASIAD 20.
