Ho Chi Minh City Police has just completed the recruitment of Vietnamese-Australian midfielder Khoa Ngo (Vietnamese name Ngo Dang Khoa), a player born in 2006, who used to play in the Australian National Championship (A.League).
This is considered an addition to increase the depth and creativity of the midfield of the police team in the remaining journey of the season.
Khoa Ngo is Australian national, both his father and mother are Vietnamese. Before returning to Vietnam to play, this young player wore the Perth Glory club jersey and once set a milestone when he became the first Vietnamese-born player to score in the A.League.
In the 2025-2026 season, Khoa Ngo made 6 appearances for Perth Glory, including scoring his first goal at the highest level of Australian football.
Although he has not had much playing time, being given opportunities in a highly competitive league like A.League shows the development potential of the midfielder born in 2006.
Khoa Ngo plays in the position of attacking midfielder, is considered to possess speed, ball handling ability in narrow spaces and modern playing thinking.
Joining Ho Chi Minh City Police is expected to help Khoa Ngo have more conditions to play, and gradually adapt to the Vietnamese football environment.
With coach Le Huynh Duc's team, the appearance of this Vietnamese-Australian midfielder brings more personnel options for the midfield in the context of the fierce race in V.League 2025-2026.
