Vietnam table tennis team competes professionally with Russia

Preparing for the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnam Table Tennis Team will have the opportunity to compete in a friendly training course with the Russian Federation Table Tennis Team.

General Secretary of the Vietnam Table Tennis Federation, Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai, said that a member of the Russian Federal Table Tennis Team will compete in a training match with the Vietnam Table Tennis Team in Hanoi on December 4.

On the morning of December 3, members of both teams got acquainted and conducted a training session before the official match.

The friendly practice program was developed by the Vietnam Table Tennis Federation to enhance the expertise of the players before going to Thailand to participate in the 33rd SEA Games.

This will be a valuable competition opportunity for Vietnamese athletes to compete in practice, practice competitive spirit, perfect tactics, thereby accurately assessing current abilities and areas that need to be improved before major tournaments in the region and being ready to have the best expertise to participate in the 33rd SEA Games, said Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai.

The Vietnamese table tennis team will participate in the 33rd SEA Games with 10 players including: Dinh Anh Hoang, Nguyen Anh Tu, Nguyen Duc Tuan, Doan Ba Tuan Anh, Le Dinh Duc, Nguyen Thi Nga, Bui Ngoc Lan, Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh, Tran Mai Ngoc and Mai Hoang My Trang.

All will compete with the Russian Federal Table Tennis Team in the friendly program.

At the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnam Table Tennis Team will participate in all 7 events (men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, men's team, women's team).
