On the evening of September 25, at Vinh Phuc Stadium (Phu Tho province), three finals of men's and women's doubles, men's doubles and women's doubles took place within the framework of the 2025 National Strong Team Table Tennis Tournament.
Vietnam's top tennis player Dinh Anh Hoang won a double Gold Medal with his teammates at the T&T People's Public Security.
In the first final match of the mixed doubles event, the athlete pair of People's Public Security T&T, Dinh Anh Hoang and Tran Ngoc Mai, did not have too much difficulty in winning an impressive 3-0 victory over the athlete pair Nguyen Dang Hiep and Vu Hoai Thanh of the Army with the scores of 11: 12-9, 11-4 and 11-5 respectively in 3 sets to step up to the highest podium.
In the two final matches of the men's doubles event that followed, the pair of athletes Dinh Anh Hoang and Le Dinh Duc continued to compete with stable performance and won 3-0 against the pair of athletes Bui Huu Huy and Dinh Quang Minh of Hai Phong to bring home another Gold Medal for the T&T People's Public Security.
The remaining women's doubles final between athletes Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh and Nguyen Bach Thanh Thu of Ho Chi Minh City 1 against athletes Tran Ngoc Mai and Hoang Tra My of T&T People's Public Security took place enthusiastically and attractively with a 2-2 result divided equally between the two teams after 4 sets.
Entering the decisive set 5, despite being led by their opponents to 10-6, with courage and steady spirit, the pair of athletes from Ho Chi Minh City 1 scored 6 points in a row to come back to win the final 12-10 victory. Thereby, convincingly competing for the championship.
On September 26, the 2025 National Strong Team Table Tennis Championship will continue to feature men's and women's singles matches with the participation of Vietnam's top players. The tournament will close and award prizes on September 28.
