The Vietnam Volleyball Federation decided to focus on the Young Women's Volleyball Team this year to perform the task of competing in the above tournament.

The professional preparation plan and player selection to the training list will be proposed by head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet.

The last time Vietnamese volleyball participated in the AFC U18 Asian Women's Championship was in 2014. After 12 years, we have returned to this playground.

In 2024, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation has focused again on young forces in the Vietnam U20 squad to participate in the AFC U20 Women's Championship.

The young Vietnamese players ranked 5th at the above tournament and have a spot to participate in the 2025 U21 World Championship.

The Vietnam Volleyball Federation will focus on continuing to train young athletes in the current period to perform professional tasks.
