Thanh Thuy sends thanks to fans
Recently, main attacker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy was honored as "Most Favorite Athlete" at the Victory Cup 2025 Gala award ceremony. The captain of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team surpassed many typical faces such as Nguyen Huy Hoang (swimming) or Nguyen Thi Oanh (athletics) to receive this award for the second time.
Because she is playing in Japan for Gunma Green Wings club, Thanh Thuy could not attend the awards ceremony. However, the 1997-born hitter still sent thanks to the fans.

Thanh Thuy expressed: "I thank the coaching staff as well as the whole team for spending 2025 together full of effort, training, competing and dedication, with many joys and regrets.
Hopefully this will be the motivation for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team to make strong progress to achieve even more achievements".
Currently, Thanh Thuy is focusing on participating in the All Stars Games match in Japan. The main attacker of Vietnam is the hitter selected by the organizers in the squad for the match taking place at 11:05 tomorrow (January 31).

Women's team participates in tournament in Taiwan (China)
In the international competition plan for 2026, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will participate in a tournament held in Taiwan (China) taking place from July 30 to August 2. It is known that the tournament will feature many guest teams, including the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
This is an important international playground, creating conditions for teams to rub shoulders and improve their expertise in the middle of the year.
After this tournament, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will enter the competition phase with a tight schedule. Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team will participate in the SEA V.League and the Asian Championship before participating in the ASIAD in September.

Therefore, the tournament in Taiwan (China) is an important stepping stone to help the Vietnamese women's volleyball team prepare best in terms of both physical strength, mentality and expertise, towards a series of decisive tournaments in the remainder of 2026.
