The U21 Vietnam women's volleyball team ranked 25th in the world after a 3-1 victory over U21 Canada at the 2025 U21 Women's Volleyball World Cup. Head coach Nguyen Trong Linh's team increased by 5 places compared to the previous ranking.
Ranked 25th in the world is the best position that the Vietnam U21 Women's Volleyball Team has ever had. The team has had three wins against Indonesia U21, Serbia U21 and Canada U21, so they currently have 14 points on the rankings.
Coach Nguyen Trong Linh and his team have two more matches in the group stage against Argentina U21 and Puerto Rico U21 and will then participate in the knockout round.
Mr. Linh said that the players are in a very comfortable and excited spirit when winning the tournament this time.
On the world U21 youth rankings, the Chinese U21 team is currently holding the number one position. Second place is the U21 Italy team and third place is the U21 Brazil team. The Thai U21 team is currently ranked 14th in the world.
The coaching staff of the Vietnam U21 Women's Volleyball Team registered 14 official players to participate in the world youth tournament in Indonesia, including Lai Khanh Huyen, Ngo Thi Bich Hue, Ha Kieu Vy, Nguyen Phuong Quynh, Dang Thi Hong, Le Nhu Anh, Nguyen Lan Vy, Nguyen Van Ha, Pham Quynh Huong, Pham Thuy Linh, Le Thuy Linh, Bui Thi Anh Thao.
