At around 7:20 a.m., a fire suddenly broke out in a house surrounded by corrugated iron hyacinth houses next to the Cau and Tan Trieu cemeteries in Thanh Liet ward, Hanoi. Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force arrived, coordinating with the Ward Police, Electricity and local people to control the fire.

According to Mr. Phan Van Thai (residing in the Cau hamlet cemetery, Tan Trieu), before the fire, he heard some explosions, then a column of smoke rose high. He and the people immediately shouted, called the fire department and the ward police to rescue.
Some residents said that this warehouse contains foam boxes for recycling, located next to the spontaneous landfill. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, it may be due to garbage burning causing a widespread fire or an electrical short circuit.

A Fire Prevention and Fighting Police officer said that because there were many foam boxes inside, when it caught fire, the fire spread quickly, and black smoke rose high. At the time of the incident, it was raining heavily, the road was narrow, and the wire was patched, causing electric shock, making firefighting difficult.
However, after only about 30 minutes, the authorities controlled the fire. The incident did not cause any human casualties. Currently, the authorities are investigating and clarifying.

Notably, the area where the fire occurred was reported by Lao Dong Newspaper about the situation of corrugated iron houses built on agricultural land in Tan Trieu, posing many potential risks of fire and explosion and disorder.
