Vietnam U21 Women's Volleyball Team Returns Home on the Afternoon of August 18

The U21 Vietnam women's volleyball team will take a day off in Indonesia and then return home on the afternoon of August 18.

Head coach Nguyen Trong Linh shared with Lao Dong: Our players have completed the competition of the 2025 U21 Women's Youth Volleyball World Cup.

The players were very comfortable after playing with the best effort in the matches. The whole team maintains the highest solidarity and this is what helps the players always be ready to compete in recent matches".

The player ended his final match against U21 Dominica on August 16. The coaching staff will take a day off (August 17) then leave Indonesia to return home in the afternoon of August 18.

The Vietnam U21 Youth Women's Volleyball Team is ranked 19th overall. We have 12 players participating in this tournament including Lai Khanh Huyen, Ha Kieu Vy, Nguyen Phuong Quynh, Dang Thi Hong, Le Nhu Anh, Nguyen Lan Vy, Nguyen Van Ha, Ngo Thi Bich Hue, Pham Quynh Huong, Pham Thuy Linh, Le Thuy Linh, Bui Thi Anh Thao.

Coach Nguyen Trong Linh also affirmed that the matches against each opponent have helped young Vietnamese players learn and accumulate valuable experience.

The Vietnam U21 Youth Women's Volleyball Team will end the training program after August 17. When returning home, each member is allowed to return to the management unit.

However, they will not rest. All will continue to prepare professionally to participate in the 2025 National Youth Club Championship held in Tam Dao (Phu Tho) from August 30.

The 2025 U21 Women's Youth Volleyball World Championship will be held in Indonesia from August 7 to August 17 with 24 teams. The U21 Vietnam women's volleyball team won a place in this tournament when they achieved the results of the fifth place at the 2024 U20 Asian Youth Women's Volleyball Championship.
