The Vietnam women's volleyball team will travel to Thailand on July 30 to participate in the 2025 SEA V.League and we are determined to win the championship trophy.

Stable player spirit

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet said that members of the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team are in a stable spirit, confident to compete in the two stages of the 2025 SEA V.League.

On July 30, Mr. Kiet and his students will travel to Thailand to participate in the first leg of the 2025 SEA V.League. Before that, the coaching staff completed the registration of a force of 15 players to prepare for the 2 tournament stages.

"We have trained the players of the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team in Tam Dao (Phu Tho) to prepare for the 2025 SEA V.League. The players have accumulated more physical strength. The factor of endurance must be accumulated and given top priority by the coaching staff, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet once discussed.

According to experts and players, the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team will maintain stable performance before participating in the 2025 SEA V.League. Specific evidence, we achieved encouraging results with the AVC Nations Cup 2025 championship and the VTV Cup 2025 runner-up position.

In addition, some players in the squad participating in the SEA V.League 2025 have been facilitated by coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet to compete in the Shanghai Future Stars 2025 friendly tournament (China).

Before each important tournament, the head coach always needs the spirit that the players must be truly excited and determined to play professionally to the best of their ability.

Through the 3 international tournaments he has participated in (AVC Nations Cup 2025, VTV Cup 2025, Shanghai Future Stars 2025), Mr. Kiet recognizes that each Vietnamese player has its own advantages. However, the player who makes the difference is the one who maintains the best "fire" of spirit in all situations, in all situations.

The four-man match before the 33rd SEA Games

We are the runner-up of the SEA V.League. This year's tournament continues to have 4 participating teams including Thailand ( defending champion), Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines. Currently, the 4 teams have an important goal of preparing professionally to achieve the highest results at the 33rd SEA Games.

The competition format of the SEA V.League is to play a round-robin. Therefore, 4 teams (including Vietnam) have the opportunity to compete and grasp each opponent.

Before leaving for Thailand, head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet said that the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team also identified the 2025 SEA V.League as an important opportunity to grasp the strengths of Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines. However, we do not miss the opportunity to achieve high results.

When the tournament changed its name from ASEAN Grand Prix to SEA V.League in 2023, the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team participated in all stages but only won the runner-up position (2023, 2024). This year, Vietnamese players are eager to change the color of the medal.

We predict that each match in the 2025 SEA V.League will be an exciting competition and fans will always cheer for Vietnamese players to compete with all their might, said Mr. Tran Thanh Tung, Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation.

Phase 1 of the 2025 SEA V.League will compete from August 1 to 3 in Nakhon Ratchasima (Thailand). Phase 2 will be held in Vietnam (in competition in Ninh Binh) from August 8 to August 10. Each team is allowed to register a maximum of 14 players in the squad.
