Regarding the incident of a person dying while participating in the Thai Lai village wrestling tournament (Kim Anh commune, Hanoi City), talking to Lao Dong newspaper on the evening of February 27, Mr. Pham Xuan Tai - Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports said: "Tomorrow morning, Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports will establish an inspection team, directly go to Kim Anh commune to work with the commune and inspect more thoroughly. After having the results, we will provide specific information to the parties.

As Lao Dong newspaper reported, previously, social networks shared a clip about 30 seconds long recording the scene of 2 wrestlers participating in a wrestling tournament in Hanoi on February 26.

According to the person who posted the clip, during the competition, one person was injured and did not survive.

Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Deputy Head of Kim Anh Commune Police - Tran Van Tuan confirmed that the above incident occurred in the commune on the afternoon of February 26. According to Mr. Tuan, this is a wrestling tournament of Thai Lai village.

One person died. The case has been transferred to the police investigation agency" - Mr. Tuan informed.

The case is being further investigated and clarified.
