In the early morning of September 8 (Vietnam time), the silver medal of the Vietnam Wushu Team belonged to boxer Dinh Van Tam. This boxer competed in the men's 52kg weightlifting final but lost to his opponent Jiaming Ou (China) with a score of 1-2, winning the runner-up position.
This is the final medal of the Vietnam Wushu Team at the 2025 World Championship.
The Vietnamese wushu team ended this year's tournament with 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals, 3 bronze medals. The gold medals went to athletes Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy (56kg women) and Ngo Thi Phuong Nga (52kg women).
At the 2025 World Championship, the Vietnamese wushu Team won the only bronze medal in the taolu (performance) event from the result of player Duong Thuy Vi. This is the player with the most experience and achievements among the Vietnamese wushu fighters competing internationally today.
On September 9, the players returned home. After the 2025 World Championship, the Vietnam Wushu Team will carry out the last important international mission of the year, the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand. The coaching staff will determine a list of players with the best expertise from international competition achievements to register to attend the Congress.
