GAM Esports is the only representative of Vietnam to participate in the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026, the tournament takes place in Paris (France) from July 6 to August 23. At this year's congress, GAM participates with two teams: League of Legends and PUBG PC. The representative of Vietnam officially entered the competition from July 15 in Paris (France).
In the journey at this year's tournament, the two encounters with the reigning world champion T1 were matches that received great attention from the domestic and foreign fan community. Although the results were not as expected, the GAM players still had the opportunity to directly face one of the best teams in the world, thereby accumulating more competition experience and valuable professional lessons.
In addition, the victory over MKOI also became a memorable highlight of the Vietnamese representative at EWC 2026.
