In March recently at the Hoa Lu Volleyball Cup 2026 in Ninh Binh, the Video Eyes Challenge system of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation was used to support the officiating referee.
However, Video Eyes Challenge only performed in the first few days of competition, then could not operate due to problems.
According to Lao Dong's investigation, the professional department of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation has worked with the manufacturer of the Video Eyes Challenge system that we are using to have maintenance and ensure good operation in the first round of the 2026 National Club Championship taking place from April 6 to April 19.
The manufacturer of the Video Eyes Challenge monitoring system that Vietnam is using is from Italy. Before the tournament kicks off, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation will train referee operations on April 4 in Dong Anh (Hanoi).
Along with that, referees operating the Video Eyes Challenge monitoring system were also trained and tested the operation of the cameras at the above time.
Dong Anh Gymnasium (Hanoi) once hosted round 1 of the National Championship 2025 and AVC Nations Cup 2025. The Video Eyes Challenge system has been installed here, supporting the refereeing work in the above 2 tournaments.
The first round competition program of this year's tournament will have 4 matches/day because the men's and women's events take place at the same time.
