On March 21, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV) held a draw ceremony to introduce sponsors for the National Club Volleyball Championship - Ca Mau Fertilizer Cup and the 2026 National Women's Volleyball Team.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Tri Truong - General Secretary of VFV said: "The National Volleyball Championship is the highest tournament of the year, which is the basis for evaluating and selecting outstanding athletes into the national men's and women's teams to compete in international arenas.
Therefore, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation always pays attention to innovating formats and applying technology to improve quality. The tournament always receives the attention of fans, is highly appreciated by the Asian and world Volleyball Federations, especially sponsors".

The 2026 National Volleyball Championship is divided into 2 rounds (2 stages).
Accordingly, round 1 takes place from April 6 to April 19, 2026 at Dong Anh Commune Gymnasium - Hanoi. Round 2 and final round, ranking women start from October 14 to October 25, 2026 at Vinh Long Provincial Gymnasium; round 2 and final round, ranking men start from October 28 to November 8, 2026 at Ho Chi Minh City Police Sports Center Gymnasium.
Participating in the tournament include 8 men's teams including MB Border, Ho Chi Minh City Police, Da Nang, Hanoi, LPB Ninh Binh, Sanest Khanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City and The Cong Tan Cang; 8 women's teams include Geleximco Hung Yen, Hanoi Tasco Auto, Duc Giang Lao Cai Chemicals, LPB Ninh Binh, Information Corps, Vietinbank, VTV Binh Dien Long An, Long Son Thanh Hoa Cement.
Accordingly, 8 men's and 8 women's teams will compete in a 2-round round-robin format to rank from 1 to 8. At the end of 2 rounds, 4 teams ranked from 1 to 4 will enter the final round to compete for the championship; 4 teams ranked from 5 to 8 will compete in the relegation round and the team ranked 8 must play in the 2027 Division A tournament.

Regarding the competition format, VFV General Secretary Le Tri Truong emphasized: "VFV continuously changes the competition format with the goal of creating fairness, competition, attractiveness, and improving the quality of the tournament. In 2026, the official tournament will have 8 men's teams and 8 women's teams.
Playing in a double round-robin format is considered fair, teams meet each other 2 times, and points are counted to aim for the top 4 teams to enter the finals. From here, teams can calculate their goals".
Notably, this year, the organizers will proceed to sell tickets for round 1 of the 2026 National Championship held at Dong Anh Commune Gymnasium, with a price of 50,000 VND/session/2 matches.
