National Women's Football Cup 2026 determines groups

On the morning of April 15, the Vietnam Football Federation organized an online draw ceremony for the 2026 National Women's Football Cup with the participation of representatives of 6 teams.

According to the plan, the 2026 National Women's Football Cup will take place from May 13 to May 27 at Thai Nguyen Stadium. This is a new venue compared to previous seasons, continuing to contribute to expanding the venue and increasing the interest of localities in women's football.

Speaking at the draw ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Deputy Secretary General of the Vietnam Football Federation, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament emphasized that the National Women's Football Cup is one of the important playgrounds in the national competition system, contributing to maintaining the pace of competition, improving professional quality and creating conditions for clubs to accumulate experience, towards the long-term development goals of Vietnamese women's football.

According to the draw results, 6 teams are divided into 2 groups. Group A includes Thai Nguyen T&T, Hanoi II and Phong Phu Ha Nam. Meanwhile, Group B has the participation of defending champion Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi I and Than Khoang San Vietnam.

With the participation of traditional teams and young forces with great potential, the 2026 National Women's Football Cup is expected to continue to create a competitive competition environment, contributing to improving professional qualifications and developing forces for Vietnamese women's football in the coming time.
