With a distance of 200km, stage 21 taking place on the morning of April 26 from Binh My ward (Ho Chi Minh City) to Ninh Kieu ward (Can Tho city) is the longest stage of the race. Under the scorching sun along the way, the cyclists dedicated exciting competitions from the beginning.
With many bonus points along the way, the racers quickly pushed their speed up right after starting, the leading position of the group continuously changed. After Trinh Duc Tam (Loc Troi An Giang Group team) won in Sprint 1, it was Ngo Thanh Sang (Dong Thap 2) and Nguyen Tan Hoai (Ho Chi Minh City Police) who finished first in Sprint 2 and Sprint 3 respectively.
The drama of the race was pushed to its peak in the final kilometers. In this stage, strong racers began to sprint, causing the racing team to be divided into many small groups.
With good coordination with his teammates, racer Dang Thanh Duoc of Hanoi surpassed a series of foreign athletes to finish first. Patrick Patterson (620 Vinh Long Agriculture) finished second, while Marchuk Dzianis (Kenda Dong Nai) ranked third.
This is the 2nd time Dang Thanh Duoc has won the stage. Previously, in stage 15 from Tuy Hoa to Nha Trang, 124km long, he also finished first.

According to shares from the organizers, after 21 stages, the rankings of some leading drivers did not change much. Accordingly, Yarash Uladzislau (TPHCM New Group) continued to hold the yellow jersey; Pham Le Xuan Loc (Military Region 7) held the orange jersey; Tran Trong Phuc (Vo Dac Dong Nai) held the white jersey and Marchuk Dzianis (Kenda Dong Nai) held the green jersey.
Tomorrow, April 27, the 2026 Ho Chi Minh City Television Cycling Cup will continue with stage 22 taking place around Cai Khe ward (Can Tho city), 45 km long.
