On April 21, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police announced traffic organization adjustments on some roads in Vung Tau and Saigon wards to serve the National Cycling Race for the 38th Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup in 2026.
The adjustment time is as follows:
Stage 19 - April 24: Personal time-taking race in Vung Tau ward, total distance 5 km.
Competition time is from 7 am to about 8:30 am. The route passes through the following routes: Quang Trung - Tran Phu - Tan Cang Pilot Company (18 Tran Phu) U-turn - back to Tran Phu - Quang Trung - Ha Long - Hai Van Pagoda continues U-turn - back to Quang Trung - ending at Vung Tau Ward Cultural and Information Center Park (Le Loi + Quang Trung intersection).
From 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM, functional forces will temporarily ban vehicles at both ends of the route:
No. 1 restricted spot: In front of Tan Cang Pilot Company, No. 18 Tran Phu Street.
No. 2 restricted spot: In front of Hai Van Pagoda, Ha Long street.
Alternative route: People participating in traffic actively choose branch roads to avoid the Quang Trung - Tran Phu - Ha Long section during the race stage.
Stage 25 (from 0:00 on April 26 to 24:00 on April 30) Ho Chi Minh City organizes traffic adjustment on Le Duan street (section from Pham Ngoc Thach to Pasteur).
Alternative route:
Direction 1: Le Duan - turn right to Pham Ngoc Thach - turn left to Alexandre de Rhodes - Pasteur (or go straight to Nam Ky Khoi Nghia).
Direction 2: Le Duan - turn left to Cong Xa Paris - turn right to Han Thuyen - turn right to Pasteur (or go straight to Nam Ky Khoi Nghia).
Direction 3: From Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - into Le Duan - turn left Pasteur - turn right Alexandre de Rhodes - Pham Ngoc Thach - Le Duan.
The Traffic Police Department notes that traffic participants when passing through the organized area need to reduce speed, comply with the instructions of functional forces, and do not stop or park vehicles on the road or at intersections that cause traffic obstruction.
Depending on the actual situation, the traffic police force will adjust the traffic diversion plan accordingly, minimizing the impact on people's travel.
