The final round of the project took place on August 30th, at Hoa Lu Stadium (HCMC), gathering nearly 100 candidates who passed the previous selection rounds. The players went through two stages of competition in a day, with requirements for personal technique, coordination ability, tactical thinking and situation handling.
After the morning round, outstanding candidates continue to enter advanced sparring matches in the afternoon. The coaching staff rotates formations to assess the adaptability of each player in many different match situations.
Tran An Thinh and Dinh Tuan Vu are highly appreciated through the competition process and won two slots to represent Vietnam to participate in the training program in Japan.
Coach Dinh Hong Vinh - professional advisor of the program - said: "All 100 candidates present in the final round have proven their ability and spirit of effort through the preliminary round. In the final stage, we not only look at a prominent moment but also assess the stability throughout the competition process, from technique, tactical thinking, decision-making ability to coordination ability and progressive attitude. Tran An Thinh and Dinh Tuan Vu have shown those criteria well and deserve to be selected".
According to the plan, the training trip is expected to take place in early 2027, lasting about 2 weeks. The two players will have the opportunity to train with coaches in Japan, interact with local players and learn about youth football training methods.
At the final round of season 2, Ha Tuan Kiet and Le Hoang Tuan - the first two champions of the season were also present to award tickets to the two young players. After the training trip in Japan, the two players continued to train in a professional football environment in Ho Chi Minh City.
