Two young Vietnamese players go to Japan to train with Tokushima Vortis team

Le Hoang Tuan and Ha Tuan Kiet won a football training spot in Japan after the final round of the project "Japan Football Dream".

On August 10, at Ba Ria Stadium (Ba Ria Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the final round of the first season of the "Japanese Football Dream" project in Vietnam ended with the announcement of the two most outstanding faces, Le Hoang Tuan (Dong Nai) and Ha Tuan Kiet (Phu Tho).

Both will represent Vietnam in the football training and exchange program in Japan in March 2026 with Tokushima Vortis Club (J.League).

Taking place on August 9 and 10, the final round gathered young players who passed the previous preliminary round. Candidates are comprehensively evaluated based on 5 criteria: thinking, attitude - spirit, technique, physique and speed.

Coach Dinh Hong Vinh - who directly followed the contestants closely, said that the final round brought many emotions, from excitement, determination to regret, but above all, the spirit of determination to conquer the king of sports. He believes that today's faces will become a bright spot in future Vietnamese football.

The Japan Football Dream project is organized by Otsuka Nutraceutical Vietnam Co., Ltd. - the owner of the Pocari sweat brand in Vietnam in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Club, BMG Football Academy, under the sponsorship of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Japan) and Tokushima Vortis Club.

The program aims to discover and nurture football talent between the ages of 13-14, while promoting cultural and sports exchange between Vietnam and Japan.
