On the evening of May 11, on the day of coach Nguyen Anh Duc's debut, Binh Duong club still could not win against Quang Nam in round 22 of V.League 2024-2025 when the opponent held them to a 0-0 draw. With this result, Binh Duong has not been able to improve its recent poor performance streak.
Sharing after the match, coach Nguyen Anh Duc said that Binh Duong club still has many problems that need improvement.

"With this result, I don't know if I'm satisfied with it because I've only been home for 2 days. But I am satisfied with their performance, they are determined to compete. They dare to play, that is what I am satisfied with. There are many reasons for not winning, not all of them. But if they have not won, of course we must look back at how our players are. They have many strengths and weaknesses.
Many students have made basic mistakes and passeding techniques. The team has only practiced for the past 2 days with 14 people. I didn't know how to practice. When I returned, it was very difficult during the time when the whole team was injured. It was a crush in just 60 minutes, 70 minutes without any water. There are many things to improve. I have returned, I accept that I should not give any reasons and focus on my work to make the club better", coach Anh Duc shared.

Regarding the immediate goal with Binh Duong, coach Anh Duc said: "First of all, we have to consolidate, how can the team get better. How to get to the finish line as safely as possible to focus on the National Cup Semi-finals".
Regarding the emotions of leading the team that played when he was a player, coach Anh Duc shared: "There were extremely many emotions, there were joys, sadness, and confusion. The training team did not have enough squads and was patchwork. It is really difficult to replace someone who is not there. A position that is not strong enough or injured, and it is very difficult to change. This affects psychology. It is really happy to return to my hometown to contribute and dedicate. Football is passion, dedication. I am very happy to be able to contribute freely".
