Speaking after the match, coach Nguyen Anh Duc of Becamex HCMC admitted that the team had made efforts but could not stop Tien Linh from shining. "I have plans to counter Tien Linh, but he still scores. Tien Linh played well, not only in this match but also in the match against Hanoi, he chose the right time and scored," said coach Anh Duc.
On the other side of the front line, coach Le Huynh Duc of Ho Chi Minh City Police highly appreciated the competitive spirit of his students. Despite winning, coach Le Huynh Duc still emphasized that the team still has a lot of work to do to maintain their form: "Good performance at the beginning of the season, competing in each match so we try harder. Today, we had a goal in the first half but didn't play well, then we took it back and played better. We have a lot of work to do."
In the next round, Ho Chi Minh City Police will visit Song Lam Nghe An Stadium on September 27. Meanwhile, Becamex HCMC will continue to play at home against Da Nang on September 27.
