The Supreme People's Procuracy (VKSNDTC) has just issued Plan No. 90/KH-VKSTC dated May 11, 2026 on organizing the Sports Festival of the People's Procuracy sector - Law Protection Newspaper Cup XIV in 2026.
According to the expected schedule, the sports festival will take place in Ninh Binh province for 3 days, from June 25 to June 27, 2026.
The activity is organized to celebrate major holidays of the year and towards the 66th anniversary of the traditional day of the People's Procuracy sector (July 26, 1960 - July 26, 2026).
This is also an opportunity for units throughout the industry to strengthen exchanges, promote physical training movements and improve the spiritual life for officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers.
According to the plan, this year's sports festival includes 3 sports: badminton, table tennis and pickleball. The competition contents include men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles. The organizers will divide the appropriate age groups in each sport to ensure balance in competition.
Participants are officials, civil servants, public employees and employees working in the People's Procuracy sector. Employees under contract must have a contract term of one year or more and have worked at the unit for at least 6 months before the registration time.
Meanwhile, athletes who have reached the level of masters or level I, level II athletes from 2021 to now will not be eligible to participate.
Each unit is established with a delegation of athletes to participate in the sports festival. The composition includes 1 delegation of the Supreme People's Procuracy; 1 delegation of the Central Military Procuracy; 34 delegations of the Provincial People's Procuracy; 1 delegation of Hanoi Procuracy University and 1 delegation of the Procuracy University Branch in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Supreme People's Procuracy emphasized the requirement to organize sports festivals in a safe, economical and effective direction. Participating units must strictly comply with the regulations and rules of the organizing committee, and at the same time uphold the spirit of solidarity, honesty and noble competition.
Previously, 13 sports festivals of the People's Procuracy sector co-organized by Bao Ve Phap Luat Newspaper all took place stably, becoming annual activities of the sector.
The 14th Sports Festival in 2026 is expected to continue to contribute to maintaining the sports movement, creating an environment for exchange and strengthening the connection between units throughout the People's Procuracy sector.
