On the afternoon of October 20, the Can Tho City Police Pickleball Club organized the first Open Pickleball Tournament, celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union and the 15th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20).




At the opening ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hoang Phuc - Head of the Can Tho City Police Pickleball Club said that the tournament was attended by more than 100 athletes who are officers and soldiers of the police units, medical officers, leaders of departments, branches and enterprises in the area.
The activity aims to create a healthy sports playground, improve physical strength, enhance exchanges and solidarity between units.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hoang Phuc, the task of protecting security and order in the current period not only requires officers and soldiers with strong political and professional courage, but also requires a good physical foundation to meet work requirements.
In recent times, Can Tho City Police have always focused on developing the sports movement in the entire force in the spirit of Resolution 12 of the Politburo.
This Pickleball Tournament is also an opportunity for units to learn, share experiences, create a practical cultural and sports environment to serve political tasks, contributing to maintaining security and order in the city.
