The Lamdong Trail 2024 officially opened on November 8 at the Valley of Love (Da Lat city, Lam Dong province). This year's event attracted more than 2,000 athletes from 25 countries.
This is the third season of the tournament, with the message "Back to Nature" - returning to nature - to encourage participants to explore the wild beauty of the Lam Dong plateau.
Athletes will compete in distances of 5km, 15km, 25km, 45km and 75km. The competitions will take place over 2 days, November 9 and 10. Each distance has its own unique challenges, from conquering heights to experiencing majestic nature.
A special feature of this year’s event is the presence of many international Elite athletes, including famous runners such as Kristian Joergensen, Godwin Mirar and Shashwat Rao. They will join and share valuable secrets in exchange programs, bringing great inspiration to the athletes.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Pham Thi Minh Phuong - Head of the Organizing Committee said: "Lamdong Trail is not only an opportunity for athletes to test their limits, but also an opportunity to explore and honor the natural beauty of Lam Dong".
Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province also emphasized that the race is an opportunity to promote the unique cultural and tourism image of the province.
